Deterministic Diffusers
Deterministic diffusers scatter efficiently the light in a well-designed angular distribution and allow the homogenization of light sources. As deep structures they act achromatic and can be used for white light sources. They are realized with grayscale photolithography.

Tailored-light diffusers are designed according your specifications considering fabrication processes. The surface structures are realized by direct-writing grayscale photolithography into resist and by subsequent replication into UV-curable polymers. Transmissive and reflective designs are possible.

The design using an iterative Fourier-transform algorithm may consider a simulaneous (global) chief-ray angle deflection or local deflection leading to a lens function envelope. The approach allows a local scattering alteration as well.
